Historian’s Report: Shirley Wajda emailed President Christine Novicky her report. Shirley redesigned Viennapedia as a website in because the wiki site began to charge annual rates. The new design is cleaner, with easier searching. The encyclopedia is an ongoing process. Still needed: basic information such as lists of Township trustees, lists of graduating classes, and more twentieth-century and recent history. She is currently researching the Vienna Consolidated School building and World War I soldiers. She called Warren-Trumbull County Library to inform the Local History librarians of the change in URL to website still lists the old wiki URL. Email inquiries are down - partly due to Viennapedia? Viennapedia has proved useful: Youngstown State University Public History students created in late spring 2014 an exhibit at Trumbull County Historical Society on the education in the county, featuring three townships, one of them being Vienna. She is still working on the means to link Viennapedia to smartphone tours of the Township. Several apps are available.
