If you missed the Walk, you may read the ten-part tour here. (The PDF file will open in a new browser window.)
Some sixty individuals joined the Vienna Historical Society on 23-24 October 2010 and toured Vienna Township Cemetery. The tour, based on the older portion of the cemetery, reviewed the early history of the Township, the first burial in the town, veterans' graves, changing gravestone styles, the current condition of the cemetery, and the Society's efforts to document, repair, preserve, and study the cemetery.
The Walk was noted in the local press. See: Warren Tribune-Chronicle ("History Alive in Cemetery," 25 October 2010), and "Grave Experience: Student Restores and Studies Cemeteries," Youngstown State University's coverage of VHS Intern Lauren Worona's work on the cemetery.
